Drums + Complexes

Steve swears by Tama drums.

He’s a recovering Zildjian user who has lately become enamored with Meinl and Sabian cymbals. Current setup (l-r): 14.25″ K Custom hi hats, 18″ HHX complex crash, 20″ sand ride, 18″ Byzance dark crash, 19″ AAXtreme china, 20″ HHX complex crash.

Vic Firth sticks are tops. But the way he breaks sticks he might as well just burn money.

He plays a Tama starclassic performer birch/bubinga kit  in indigo sparkle burst. Specs: 10″ & 12″ rack toms, 14″ & 16″ floor toms, 20″ x 22″ kick, 6.5″ x 14″ Tama starphonic brass snare.

Complexes rule.

Steve plays drums for the post-hardcore band Complexes.
